Do I need a driving license to drive the quad bike?

Generally, no driving license is required for the quads in Agafay as they are driven on private land and tracks, not public roads. However, you must be over 16 years old to drive solo. Children can usually ride as passengers behind an adult.

Is there sand in Agafay?

No, Agafay is a "Stone Desert." It consists of dry earth, white stones, and rocky plateaus. It does not have the big sand dunes like the Sahara, which makes it perfect for quad biking as it is less difficult to drive on.

Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dusty. Jeans and a t-shirt or light sweater are fine. You must wear closed shoes (sneakers)—no flip-flops allowed on the quads. A scarf or bandana is provided to cover your mouth against the dust.

Arrival & Quad Biking

Arrive at the base camp and get equipped with your helmet and goggles.
Receive a safety briefing and a short tutorial on how to drive the semi-automatic quad bikes.
1-Hour Quad Ride: Follow your guide through the rocky desert paths, over small dunes, and past Berber villages. This is the best time to speed up and enjoy the rugged terrain before the sun sets.

Transfer to Sunset Camp & Camel Ride

Drive to a luxury desert camp for the second activity.
1-Hour Camel Ride: Mount a "Ship of the Desert" for a peaceful trek at sunset.
Watch the sky turn purple and orange over the Atlas Mountains while swaying gently on the back of the camel.
Stop for photos with the stunning backdrop.

06:30 PM :

Sunset Mint Tea

Arrive back at the main camp.
Relax on traditional Berber carpets and poufs.
Welcome traditional Mint Tea while you settle in for the evening.

Dinner & Spectacle (The Show)

Sit down for a lavish Dinner Feast under the stars (or inside a Caidal tent).
