We will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 08:00 AM and we
will drive to Casablanca , we’ll visit there Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest
mosques in the world built along the Atlantic Ocean, Medina, Corniche Ain Diab
and Habous Quarter Then we’ll leave for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Overnight
in Rabat.
After breakfast at your hotel, we will start exploring Rabat, you will visit the
Oudaya Kasbah, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II, Hassan Tower
which is the minaret of incomplete mosque, Roman Ruins of Chellah and Rabat
Medina. Overnight in Rabat.
After breakfast at your Hotel we’ll depart toward Volubilis where you will explore
the large Roman ruins that date back to the second century. The next stop on our journey is Meknes, which was the capital during the seventeen century and one of
the imperial cities of Morocco. You’ll see the famous gate of Bab Mansour, The
Granary, The Square of Lehdim and Moulay Ismail mausoleum. After that we’ll head
to our final destination, Fes. Overnight in Fes.
In the morning we’ll drive toward the Sahara desert, our first stop will be in Ifrane,
known as Little Switzerland. Then we’ll continue through the Cedar Forest where,
with luck you’ll see monkeys. Next we’ll head to Midelt where you can enjoy your
lunch. Continuing the road through the Middle Atlas Mountains and observe the
nomads that live there. We continue the drive through the scenic Ziz Valley that is
surrounded with palm trees stopping at scenic views along the way. After that we
will head to the finalstation Sahara desert. Overnight in Merzouga.
In the morning after breakfast, we will take you in an excursion through the golden
dunes of Sahara desert where you can get the chance to see the black volcanic
rocks, and meet a nomad family, see their nomadic lifestyle, share a cup of tea with
them. Lunch will be somewhere in Merzouga. Next we will go to Khamlia which is
a village of the dark-skinned people where you can enjoy the original music and
folk songs of the Gnaouas. In the afternoon you will have your camels waiting for
you to take you to your desert camp to spend the night of a lifetime under the
light of thousands stars. Overnight in Merzouga.
In the morning, your camel guide will awaken you to enjoy the spectacular sunrise
over the sand dunes. This experience is considered one of the trip’s highlights. After
your breakfast in the middle of the Sahara dunes, you’ll ride your camels back to
the village of Merzouga. Then we will start our journey driving to the Dades Valley
via the Todghra Valley and Gorges where we will stop for pictures of the kasbahs
built by jews. You’ll have a chance to walk through the stunning Todghra Gorges
before carrying on to Ouarzazate via the Dades Valley and Rose Valley. Overnight
in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast at your hotel we will explore Ouarzazate by visiting tha Atlas
Studios and Kasbah Taourirt, next we’ll drive to Kasbah Ait-ben-Haddou , the
largest kasbah in Morocco where movies like The Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia
and The Jewel of the Nile were filmed. After that we will continue our journey toward
Marrakech by driving through the high Atlas Mountains, we will make a stop in Tizi’ntichka
pass and other regular stops at panoramic views of the berber villages till we reach
Marrakech, we will drop you off at your accommodation.
